Joyce Paes is President of Paes & Associates. Prior to establishing her own consulting firm in 1985, Ms Paes held key management positions with three Fortune 500 corporations, spanning a sixteen-year period; Sweda International Division of Litton Industries, Sperry Univac Division of Sperry Rand and Datapoint Corporation. Her responsibilities included Project Manager for a multi-million dollar Hypermarket installation in Port Alegra, Brazil, Team Manager for a $40-million contract with a New York City bank, and Project Manager for a $65-million contract with the Department of Defense, the Pentagon, Washington, DC.
Ms Paes' expertise in Corporate Strategy, Operational and Professional Development is demonstrated in her excellent results with clients nationwide.
Ms Paes has been active in the San Antonio community. Some of her membership activities have involved the Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce, the North Chamber's Marketing Seminars and Speakers’ Committees. She has participated in the Sales and Marketing Executive Club of San Antonio and the South Texas Speaker's Association. She has served for several years on the Woodstone Homeowners’ Association as both President and Vice President, representing the Association as spokesperson before the Mayor and City Council.
Ms Paes’ formal education is in Business Administration, with an emphasis on International Marketing, studied at Seton Hall University and Bloomfield College, in New Jersey. After several years of international work, Ms Paes became a Certified Consultant for Inscape Publishing, focusing on Business Strategy. To expand her company offerings, she was certified as a Train-The-Trainer Instructor, with Sales Communications Ltd. Three years later, she was confirmed as an Out-Placement Advisor with two top-rated, nationwide outplacement firms, Drake, Beam Morin, based in New York City, and Human Resource Management Corporation, headquartered in St. Louis.
In the early 1990’s, Ms. Paes was credited as a Special Advisor and Certified Group Facilitator for Rapha’s San Antonio facility. In 2003, Ms Paes completed a C.N.H.P (Certified Natural Health Professional) from The National Association of Certified Natural Health Professionals, to address the emerging need of a healthy lifestyle focus in the corporate environment. In 2006, Ms Paes became a licensed as a One-Page Business Plan Consultant.
Pat Sitton is Staff Assistant and brings to our clients years of efficient, professional administrative experience. If there is a way to organize it, Pat will find it and make it simple for even the most disorganized person. Pat is the glue that holds our firm together and has been with us since 1998. Her ability to multi-task and work efficiently makes her an indespensible asset to our firm.
Elaine Henderson is a part time Staff Assistant who brings warmth and a positive attitude to complement her organizational skills. She has a "can do" attitude no matter how challenging the task may be. Elaine has an insatiable appetite to learn and is an avid reader. Introduce a new concept and she is busy studying and researching it upon its arrival.
Kim Van Cleave is our on-call Staff Assistant who brings technology expertise to keep us on our toes and to keep us looking at innovative ways to best serve our clients. Kim's forte is to maximize time by utilizing all available resources.
